"She Tore Her Clothes in Sorrow" is a memoriam to those who died while homeless in Minnesota in 2018. This artist book, completed by LLAC member/owner Wendy Fernstrum in 2020, includes three elements:
A tunic made from panels of Thai mulberry paper printed with a woven pattern using drypoint/intaglio; the names of the deceased are printed on the panels using letterpress
100 4" x 4" squares, each with torn cloth pattern printed using drypoint/intaglio
A bound book measuring 6" x 10" closed, 6" x 20" open.
